Dear Members, Friends, & Family,
Church services and all other events are still canceled or postponed through May 4th. Next week, we’ll be sending out an e-mail with a more formal update on what’s been happening and what the plan is for May. If you don’t get an email, or know of someone who didn’t, please contact me so I can update our Contact List.
I have been going in to light the candles each Sunday and offer up our prayers. If you have any special prayers you’d like me to offer, please let me know. I will also be offering a short Facebook “live” Sunday Services at 9am until we are able to gather in person again. I won’t be able to be at the Church on May 3rd, but am hoping I will have decent internet service to still offer a short prayer service.
There is an active network at the Church/Meetinghouse in place. Should you need support or help, or know of someone who does, please contact us. We are here to help one another. We have also connected our Neighbor’s Network to a bigger area (informal) network, should we need to reach out farther than our local area for support.
I miss you all and gathering together for worship and friendship, but remember that we are all still here and will be able to gather together soon.
In the meantime, remember to look for the people doing good, they remind us to be calm and helpful. Have gratitude. Share compassion, love, and prayers for those who need it. This is our practice as a church family: to be beacons of peace, hope, and calm in the midst of the chaos.
Love & Blessings, Charlotte
