Of Note and Deadline: Any gifts (from tags, stocking stuffer items, or wrapping supplies) for the Salvation Army Angel Tree and “Bucket” are due this coming Sunday morning (December 17th). Please have all your items in by then, so that we can get them to the Salvation Army in time for Christmas!!

Hello Everyone,
We wanted to say hello and send out an update on what’s going on here at the Community Church of North Orange and Tully. We hope you are having a peaceful Advent, Christmas, and holiday season.
We kicked off the Season with our Annual Holly Fair, which was absolutely wonderful. It’s always so nice to get together and see everyone working and playing together. We very much enjoyed our visit from Santa Clause and the laughter from all the children (big and small). Last Sunday, we lit the Community Christmas Tree on Goddard Park with a blessing, carols, and the feeding of the birds! Enjoy the lights of the season!!
In our Missions Work this month, we made donations to North Quabbin Citizens Advocacy, the Food Bank of Orange (please remember, we are always collecting non-perishable food items for the pantry and welcome your donations), and to the Veteran’s of the Cross. We will begin collecting donations for Fuel Assistance as the new year turns, please keep your eyes peeled for that collection to begin.

Neighbors Notes:
The Neighbor’s Group planted 300 plus daffodils this fall in the North Orange area, at the library, across from the library, and at the cemetery. Our goal is to continue yearly planting until North Orange and Tully come ablaze with blooms each spring. Please feel welcome to join us in planting, either as a group or on your own roadsides!!
The Neighbors Group’s primary goal is to be of support to one another in disaster (wind storms, ice storms, and the like). Each section of our area community has a “cluster lead” who can be reached out to (or will reach out) in the event of need. The Neighbors Group came into existence after the WindStorm of 2019. Even though it was still building, it was nicely in place to help out during the Covid Crisis. We are beginning to rebuild and strengthen this group. Please reach out if you would like to help or join!!
We wish you a Peaceful time of Advent and the Happiest of Christmases. We hold close to our hearts those who are struggling this season. Please reach out if you are in need of support. We are here for one another and for you. Happy Holidays to all.
Love, Blessings, and Merry Christmas,
Charlotte and CCNOT
