Missions is currently focused on Food Sustainability and Availability. We are working closely with the Orange Food Pantry to support them for Pop Ups and opening.
ANNUAL MISSIONS:
Souper Bowl on Super Bowl Sunday. Please help us support our local food pantry with donations of food (SOUPS and non perishable items: pantries are often looking for paper products and bathroom items as well).
Food-a-Thon: Takes place each May.
Adopt a Family: We have a Giving Tree with tags to support the needs of a local family and to have some fun.
CROP Hunger Walk: Franklin County CROP Hunger Walk is usually the first Sunday in October. Mark your calendars.
We accept Fuel Assistance donations. We aim to offer four families in need 100 gallons of oil each March!!
ONGOING MISSIONS:
Heiffer Project: The Sunday School Kids have taken over overseeing the Heifer project. As each animal is purchased, they choose a new animal and keep track of the donations. They even have names for the animals we gift!
Food Pantry Donations are ongoing at the Church and Meetinghouse. Feel free to drop off any non-perishable food items at any time. When the ‘box’ is full, we will drop off at the Orange Food Pantry for distribution to families in need.
Community Church of North Orange & Tully
