Thank you all for such delightful conversations today!! After a bit of refresher and catch up on what we’ve been covering in the three sections (so far) of Confirmation Studies, we let the conversations and questions unfold. The kids will be getting the next Studies materials early in February.
I did not take many notes, but a few things that are sticking in my head are:
the little graces
compassion as a practice of love
tenderness and tending
simple deeds of kindness
be gentle with the fears and the fearful (don’t feed the fears)
We are also planning to have a Book Club. There are no details yet, but we have our book chosen: A House United by Allen Hilton (none of us have yet read it). We recommend that you order your book from a local book store or use the library. I often shop on Bookshop.org and have my bookstore chosen as The Book Forge to support local even as I shop online.
