Please remember that tomorrow, we will be continuing the Summer Fun by joining our Friends in Faith at South Athol United Methodist Church for their annual Tropical Worship. There are no services at our church, but we will be back next Sunday. The steel drums play at 9:30 and Worship begins at 10am. Bring a chair, bring a sun hat, and join us before the Summer is over.
We had such a lovely time today. The weather could not have been more perfect (if a bit toasty) for a Summer Village Fair. Did we mention that it was our 80th Village Fair?!?!?! That’s pretty amazing. If you joined us, we’re glad you helped make this one of our best ever. If you missed it, we do it every year on the third Saturday in August!
We raffled a hand made quilt, two cords of seasoned firewood (or cash equivalent) donated in tribute to Gus and Kathryn Johnson, and an assortment of Raffle Baskets. The Church Kids had their own table with items they chose, made, and baked. The Kids profits will be split for supplies for their School and St. Jude’s.
We had fabulous music with Seth Simonelli, including Story Time with the Wheeler Memorial Library. For lunch, we opened our Hot Dog Station with Ed (for the first time in many years, we brought back our Hot Dogs!).
We enjoyed baked good and fresh veggies at the Veggie table. There were hand made crafts and, as always, a huge shout out to our Vendors who joined us on the Park. There were so many wonderful offerings!!
It was a fabulous year and we’re already brainstorming for 2026. Please don’t hesitate to brain storm with us…it’s one of the most fun things to do! Karaoke? Game time? Obstacles on the 5K course?

It was such an awesome day in every way. A lot of hard work but everyone working together makes it even more special.
